Steering Column Lock Problem Fix
The Emulator is an easy fix to a very common issue with Steering Column Lock. It works by replacing original ESL signal. When the steering lock malfunctions, and its stuck in lock position, it is required to physically remove it from the vehicle. The emulator will simulate the electronic signal of the steering lock, enabling the car to start.
The emulator includes both RED and GREEN LED Lights as indicators of correct functioning with lock sound.

What is ELV / ESL?
An ESL an electronic steering lock which is powered by a motor. At times, it malfunctions and this emulator provides a solution to this.
If you are facing any of the problems mentioned below then it means your ELV / ESL is malfunctioning:

Land Rover Freelander 2 Steering Lock Emulator Installation:
- Unplug the ELV wire from the vehicle steering lock unit.
- If vehicle steering lock is in lock mode, steering lock must be removed.
- Connect emulator to the car and start the car.
